    Ski and Snowshoe

    Saturday, February 11, 1:30pm

    Putnamville School parking lot

    Meet at the Little Red Putnamville School. Bring your skis, snowshoes, or hiking boots. Learn how you can sponsor a mile marker to help with trail improvements. We'll trek north towards Rt. 97 and then enjoy seasonal refreshments and a raffle upon our return. Rain date 2/12. Call Laura for details 978-777-4661. If we do not have snow, we will hike south.

    Boardwalk adjacent to rail trail, south of RT97

    CAUTION - NEVER walk on pond or swamp ice. This winter we are working the details of a 'completion plan' which requires actually measuring the distance we need to cover in order to finish the project. We will announce time, materials, & funding. Tentatively we are looking at the following 2012 timeline: May 4-6, May 18-20, Oct 12-14, Oct 19-21

  • Danvers 5k Fun Run

    Weekly Run

    Wednesdays, 7 - 8pm

    Sweet William Garden Center, 141 Pine St. Danvers

    The Danvers 5k is a fun run. That means ALL are welcome to run and it's not an official race. We pride ourselves in being a diverse bunch and have regular runners of all ages and abilities. In nice weather, we even get a few parents with strollers. The group runs every Wednesday, promptly at 7pm. (rain or shine) leaving from Sweet Williams Garden Center at 141 Pine Street, Danvers.
